Sayara Develops Communications Strategy for USAID-funded Conflict Mitigation Assistance for Civilians (COMAC) Program

Sayara is excited to announce its latest subcontract under Blumont’s US Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Afghanistan Conflict Mitigation Assistance for Civilians (COMAC) program in Afghanistan. COMAC seeks to provide comprehensive and sustainable victims’ assistance (VA) to civilian victims of war and armed conflict through outreach and capacity building of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) and other stakeholders. As the subcontractor, Sayara will develop and deliver a comprehensive and coherent multi-track communications strategy by developing communications capacity building to ensure sustainability and designing communications activities and products aimed at public awareness (i.e. PSAs, leaflets, social media pages). The communications strategy will seek to raise awareness of VA services, in an effort to inform and encourage dialogue between the public and various stakeholders, governmental and nongovernmental. With civilian victims hitting a record high this year in Afghanistan, victim assistance and program awareness is critical. Sayara is proud to be working with the COMAC program.
